Wow… that’s funny







The event was the White House Press Corp Dinner. The players, White House media, the president, an impersonator, many important members of the US government and a few other VIPs. The main entertainer of the night, Stephen Colbert, serving up a nice big piece of truthiness.

Back when I still had cable, I watched his show on occasion and thought that it was a shallow satire that wouldn’t lasat very long, because there’s only so many ways to make fun of Fox News. In many ways, I still think that, but I’m glad his 15 minutes lasted long enough for him to get this gig.
